CIK Strikes Transnational Terror Network: Synchronized Raids Across Six J&K Districts
The Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) wing of the Jammu and Kashmir Police launched a major, coordinated crackdown against Pakistan-sponsored terror networks. Early-morning searches targeted eight distinct locations across six valley districts: Srinagar, Bandipora, Kupwara, Anantnag, Kulgam, and Baramulla.
Officials confirmed the operation stems from a deep-rooted investigation into illegal sleeper cells facilitating localized radicalization, youth recruitment, and illicit cross-border terror funding. Investigators scrutinized digital footprints and encrypted communication platforms used by local suspects to maintain discrete contact with foreign handlers.
