Enshrinement of Fourth Dodrupchen Rinpoche’s Kudung
Hundreds of monks, devotees, and dignitaries gathered in Gangtok today for the sacred final journey and enshrinement of the 'Kudung' (holy body) of the Fourth Dodrupchen Rinpoche.
The solemn procession moved from Lukshyama to Deorali Chorten Gonpa amid traditional Buddhist chants. The Kudung was placed inside the Golden Reliquary Stupa as an eternal symbol of his spiritual legacy.
Concurrently, Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang inaugurated the Thongdrol Khangzang museum to preserve the late spiritual leader's sacred relics and personal belongings for future generations.
