Established to combat the rising threat of gang violence and its deep-rooted connections with cross-border arms smuggling and drug trafficking, the AGTF has become a crucial force in Punjab’s law enforcement landscape. Its focused operations, strategic intelligence, and swift action are playing a pivotal role in restoring public safety and law and order across the state.

The task force is now seen as a cornerstone in the government’s broader effort to secure Punjab from organised criminal activities and uphold the rule of law.
