Special Revision of Electoral Rolls Commences Across Manipur
The Election Commission of India officially launched Phase III of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls across Manipur today.
With July 1, 2026, established as the qualifying date, the massive administrative exercise aims to update voter lists and correct anomalies.
Nearly 3,000 Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are preparing for extensive house-to-house verifications scheduled from late May through June. Authorities have called upon all political parties to appoint Booth Level Agents to ensure transparency and complete accuracy throughout the process.
