Ease of Doing Business: Tripura Leads Nationally
In a major administrative victory, Tripura has become the first state in India to fully implement all 51 priority reform areas under both Phase-I and Phase-II of the national Compliance Reduction and Deregulation initiative.
The state introduced sweeping reforms, including self-certification for land-use changes, automated low-risk approvals, and single-window clearance mechanisms. New industries can now start operations via basic self-declaration, enjoying inspection exemptions for three years.
This rapid digitization positions Tripura as a prime destination ahead of its mega business conclave scheduled for July.
