Northwest Delhi is reeling from a shocking development in the recent acid attack case against a 20-year-old Delhi University student.

While the victim, who suffered burns to her hands while shielding her face, continues treatment, the investigation has taken a dramatic turn. 

 The wife of the main accused, Jitender, has filed a counter-complaint.

She alleges that the acid attack survivor's own father sexually assaulted and blackmailed her.

  Police confirm they are investigating this counter-allegation and are in the process of registering an FIR based on the wife's statement, adding a dark and complex layer to the initial stalking and assault claims.
