Opposition MLAs criticized the reduction of the assembly session by a day to accommodate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit on September 22. Lawmakers also raised concerns regarding the shortage of regular faculty in the state’s colleges, emphasizing the urgent need to strengthen academic staff.
The debate highlighted ongoing challenges in Tripura’s higher education system and calls for policy reforms to ensure quality education.
