"The Silent Struggle – How Discrimination Still Shadows Equality"

Article 14 of the Indian Constitution promises equality before law. But is this promise felt in every village and every street?

Even today, many Dalits, tribals, Muslims, and LGBTQ+ citizens continue to face institutional discrimination — be it in accessing justice, healthcare, housing, or education.

  • A Dalit boy being denied entry into a temple.

  • A transgender person refused a rented house despite having ID proof.

  • A tribal woman walking miles for basic medical aid.

These aren't isolated incidents they're symptoms of a larger problem: deep-rooted social bias that overrides constitutional guarantees.

Laws exist but implementation is weak, and awareness is lower. Civil rights aren’t just about having laws on paper, but about how safe, equal, and dignified a citizen feels in their daily life.

More grassroots awareness, strict action against discrimination, and inclusive governance.
