Punjab Accelerates Renewable Energy and Solar Growth
Punjab continues to expand its renewable energy sector in 2026 by promoting solar power projects, energy-efficient infrastructure, and clean energy adoption across urban and rural areas. The state is encouraging rooftop solar installations, agricultural solar pumps, and grid-connected renewable energy systems to reduce dependence on conventional fuels.
Investments in green energy infrastructure, energy conservation, and sustainable power generation are expected to enhance energy security, lower carbon emissions, and support long-term economic development.
