Assam Expands Infrastructure and Connectivity Network
Assam continues to strengthen its infrastructure and connectivity through major investments in highways, bridges, railways, airports, and inland waterways. Ongoing projects aim to improve regional mobility, reduce travel time, and enhance trade links within the Northeast and with the rest of India. The state is also advancing urban infrastructure, rural road connectivity, and logistics facilities to support economic growth.
Improved transport networks are expected to boost tourism, facilitate industrial development, strengthen border connectivity, and provide better access to essential services, contributing to Assam's long-term development and regional integration.
