June GST Growth Boosts Manipur Development Outlook
India's Goods and Services Tax (GST) collections increased 13.9% year-on-year to ₹1.94 lakh crore in June, reflecting robust economic activity, improved tax compliance, and sustained business growth across the country. The higher tax revenue is expected to strengthen government finances and support increased public investment in key sectors.
For Manipur, stronger government revenues could translate into greater spending on infrastructure, connectivity, healthcare, education, and rural development. These investments are expected to improve the state's business environment, encourage private investment, and support long-term economic growth.
