June GST Growth Signals Stronger Business Activity
India's Goods and Services Tax (GST) collections rose 13.9% year-on-year to ₹1.94 lakh crore in June, indicating sustained economic momentum and improved business activity across multiple sectors. The higher tax revenue reflects increased consumption, stronger compliance, and continued growth in commercial transactions nationwide.
The rise in GST collections is expected to strengthen government finances, enabling greater public spending on infrastructure, development projects, and welfare initiatives.
