Maharashtra Expands Transport and Connectivity Network
Maharashtra continues to strengthen its transport and connectivity infrastructure through major investments in highways, expressways, metro rail networks, rail modernization, airports, and port development. Key projects such as the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (Atal Setu), Mumbai Metro expansion, Samruddhi Mahamarg, and the Navi Mumbai International Airport are enhancing regional connectivity and supporting economic growth.
The state is also improving public transportation, logistics corridors, and rural road networks to facilitate faster movement of people and goods. These initiatives are expected to boost trade, tourism, investment, and overall socio-economic development across Maharashtra.
