Tura Parents Petition DSEL Over Illegal School Committee
A major administrative standoff has erupted in the West Garo Hills district as parents and guardians of Rajabala Higher Secondary School take a firm stand.
The aggrieved group has formally submitted a petition to the Director of School Education and Literacy (DSEL), demanding the immediate dissolution of a recently established ad-hoc managing committee. Allegedly formed secretly on June 15, the controversial committee reportedly bypassed all local stakeholders and completely excluded actual parents from its formation. The community is now calling for total transparency and legitimate representation to safeguard their children's academic future.
