మదనపల్లె రూరల్ సీఐ కళా వెంకటరమణ తనపై బూటు కాళ్లతో దాడి చేశారని బెంగళూరులో సాఫ్ట్‌వేర్ ఉద్యోగం చేస్తున్న శ్రీనివాసులు ఆరోపించారు. ఈ ఘటనపై ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తం చేసిన మదనపల్లె ఎమ్మెల్యే షాజహాన్ భాషా, బాధితుడిని పరామర్శించి, సీఐ చర్యను తీవ్రంగా ఖండించారు. సీఐ చర్యకు నిరసనగా గ్రామస్తులు వేంపల్లి క్రాస్ వద్ద రోడ్డుపై బైఠాయించి ఆందోళన చేపట్టారు.
