Historic Milestone: 5 Lakh PMAY-G Houses Inaugurated
Rural Maharashtra witnessed a transformative day as Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan joined state leaders in Satara for the "Grih Pravesh" of 5 lakh new homes. This achievement is part of the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G), marking the completion of the 30 millionth house nationally. Along with keys for new homeowners, the Center sanctioned $₹8,368.50$ crore for further rural housing in the state for 2026-27, ensuring that "Housing for All" moves from a vision to a lived reality for lakhs of families.
