Infrastructure Milestone: Azhikode-Munambam Bridge Opens
A new era of connectivity begins today as the Azhikode-Munambam Bridge officially nears completion for public use. This project is a technical marvel, being the first in Kerala to utilize the "Auto Launching" method for precast segmental construction. Funded by KIIFB, the bridge significantly slashes travel time between Thrissur and Ernakulam districts, bypassing long-standing ferry delays. It stands as a testament to the state’s commitment to modern, resilient infrastructure, fostering economic growth and tourism along the coastal belt.
