Bengaluru’s Tech Prowess: "The World is Watching"
In a major boost to the state’s economic morale, Deputy CM D.K. Shivakumar hailed Bengaluru as the ultimate global destination for IT investment during a stock market event today. Highlighting that the city now hosts over 2.6 million IT professionals and approximately 200,000 foreign workers, he noted that the "clean IT space" remains Karnataka’s greatest asset. With the listing of the Bagmane Prime Office REIT, the government reaffirmed its commitment to expanding tech infrastructure beyond the capital, eyeing Hubballi and Mangaluru as the next frontiers for growth.
