Dreaded Criminal Killed, Cop Injured in STF Encounter.
In a major operation, the Haryana Special Task Force (STF) shot dead a dreaded criminal, Inderpal, in an encounter in the Dujana area of Jhajjar on Saturday. Inderpal was a close associate of an accused in the high-profile Vijay Saini murder case. Following a tip-off about his movement, the STF team cordoned off the area. The suspect opened fire, triggering a fierce crossfire. Inderpal was neutralized in the exchange. A police inspector sustained bullet injuries and is undergoing treatment at a local hospital.
