A major fire broke out due to an electric shock in commercial boxes installed opposite the electricity office near Seven Tombs Road, beside Masjid-e-Tawheed Ahle Hadees. At the time of the incident, around 5,000 worshippers were offering prayers inside the mosque. Mosque volunteers and Fire Brigade teams quickly responded and managed to bring the fire under control, preventing a major tragedy. అల్వాల్ సర్కిల్‌లో ఫాదర్ బాలయ్య నగర్ సమస్యలు – 10 నెలలుగా ప్రజల ఇబ్బందులు అల్వాల్ సర్కిల్ 133 డివిజన్ పరిధిలోని ఫాదర్ బాలయ్య నగర్ కాలనీ ప్రజలు దాదాపు పది నెలలుగా తీవ్ర ఇబ్బందులు ఎదుర్కొంటున్నారు. రోడ్ల దుస్థితి, తాగునీటి పైపుల పనులు ఆగిపోవడం, డ్రైనేజీ సమస్యలు, వర్షాకాలంలో ముంపు కారణంగా కాలనీ వాసులు ఆందోళన చెందుతున్నారు. విద్యార్థులు మాట్లాడుతూ – “గ్రామాల్లో కూడా ఇలాంటి దుస్థితి చూడలేదు. ప్రతిరోజూ బురదలో నడవడం శిక్షలా మారింది. GHMC వెంటనే చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలి” అన్నారు. కాలనీవాసులు వాపోతూ – “పది నెలల క్రితం తవ్విన రోడ్లు అలాగే వదిలేశారు. వర్షం పడితే రోడ్లన్నీ నీటితో నిండిపోతాయి, మేమే మోటర్లతో నీటిని తీసేయాలి. మా సమస్యలను అధికారులు పట్టించుకోవడం లేదు” అని ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. ప్రజల డిమాండ్ స్పష్టంగా ఉంది – GHMC వెంటనే రోడ్ల ఫై ఉన్న బురదను తీసివేయాలి కాలనీవాసులు హెచ్చరిస్తూ – “మా సమస్యలు ఇక పక్కన పెట్టకండి, GHMC తక్షణమే చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలి. ఇలాంటి నిర్లక్ష్యం ఇక భరించలేము” అని అన్నారు. -sidhumaroju
