On 23-04-2026, acting on credible information, the Special Crime Team of CCS, DD Hyderabad apprehended four persons allegedly involved in automobile thefts, mainly two-wheeler theft cases.
Details of Apprehended Persons:
Mohammed Riyaz, 18 years, resident of MM Pahadi, Attapur, Hyderabad.
Syed Ahmed Ali, 18 years, helper in sofa-making godown, resident of MM Pahadi, Attapur, Hyderabad.
Mohammed Fardeen, 18 years, cook, resident of MM Pahadi, Hyderabad.
Minor juvenile identified as Mohammed Bin Esa, 17 years, resident of Asra Apartments, Chandulal Bahadari, Bahadurpura, Hyderabad.
Recovered Property:
A total of 10 two-wheeler vehicles were recovered from the accused persons, including:
Honda Dio – 8 vehicles
Hero Glamour – 1 vehicle
Bajaj Pulsar NS200 – 1 vehicle
Case Details:
Police stated that the accused were involved in multiple two-wheeler theft cases. The Crime Team developed intelligence through informant sources and monitored their recent activities, including observing posts on Instagram.
After continuous surveillance of their movements and locations, the accused were traced and apprehended on the morning of 23-04-2026 at MM Pahadi, Attapur. During interrogation, they allegedly confessed to involvement in 10 vehicle theft cases under the limits of Balanagar, Gandhinagar, Kollur, and Attapur police stations.
Officers Involved:
The operation was carried out by Ch. Sudhakar Rao along with his staff under the guidance of S. Chaitanya Kumar and supervision of G. Venkateswar Reddy.

పోలవరంనిర్మాణంలో అత్యంత కీలకమైన 1372 మీటర్ల 'డయాఫ్రం వాల్' ను తక్కువ సమయంలోనే పూర్తి చేయగలిగింది కూటమి ప్రభుత్వం. జగన్ నిర్లక్ష్యం కారణంగా డయాఫ్రం వాల్ దెబ్బతినడంతో అదనంగా రూ.1000 కోట్లు ఖర్చు చేయాల్సి వచ్చింది. ఇప్పుడు ఈ డి-వాల్ పూర్తి కావడంతో చంద్రబాబుగారు చెప్పినట్టు 2027 పుష్కరాలకు ముందే పోలవరం పూర్తి అవుతుందని .

రికార్డు స్థాయి పనులు

ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు స్వయంగా ప్రాజెక్టు పనులను పర్యవేక్షిస్తూ, ఇంజనీర్లను పరుగులు పెట్టించడం వల్లనే ఈ అసాధ్యమైన పని సాధ్యమైంది. గత ఐదేళ్లలో కేవలం 3.84 శాతం పనులు మాత్రమే జరిగితే, కూటమి ప్రభుత్వం వచ్చిన తర్వాత పనుల వేగం ఊహించని రీతిలో పెరిగింది. ఈ ఏప్రిల్ నాటికి డయాఫ్రం వాల్ పూర్తి కావడంతో, ప్రాజెక్టు ప్రధాన డ్యామ్ నిర్మాణం పూర్తి చేయడానికి మార్గం సుగమమైంది. జగన్ హయాంలో జరిగిన నిర్లక్ష్యం వల్ల ప్రాజెక్టు ఐదేళ్లు వెనక్కి వెళ్లగా, ఇప్పుడు చంద్రబాబు తన అనుభవంతో ఆ కాలాన్ని భర్తీ చేసే ప్రయత్నం చేస్తున్నారు.

గోదావరి పుష్కరాలే లక్ష్యం – తొలి దశకు సిద్ధం

*రాయచూరు జిల్లా మాన్వి తాలూకా కురిడి గ్రామానికి చెందిన వారు నిన్న కోసిగి మండలం కందుకూరు గ్రామంలో జరిగిన వివాహానికి హాజరుకావడానికి బంధువులుగా వచ్చారు.*

*ఈరోజు మధ్యాహ్నం సుమారు 1:30 గంటల సమయంలో కందుకూరు – అగసనూరు గ్రామాల మధ్య ఉన్న తుంగభద్ర నది సమీపానికి స్నానం చేయడానికి వెళ్లిన సమయంలో ప్రమాదం చోటుచేసుకుంది.*

Hyderabad Police Commissioner Sri V.C. Sajjanar, IPS, has urged citizens to take proactive steps to protect innocent people from falling prey to cybercriminals and to create widespread awareness about cybercrimes in society. He was speaking as the chief guest at the ‘Cyber Simba’ volunteer orientation program held at the TG iCCC auditorium in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.

Stressing the importance of public participation in curbing cybercrime, the Commissioner stated that the ‘Cyber Simba’ volunteer initiative was launched as part of the ‘Jagrut Hyderabad – Surakshit Hyderabad’ campaign. He advised citizens not to limit their WhatsApp group activities to sharing 'Good Morning' and 'Good Night' messages, but instead to actively share information and awareness messages regarding cyber security.

Highlighting the success of the initiative, he noted that since its launch in November last year, 1,717 volunteers have voluntarily registered for ‘Cyber Simba’. Through 5,118 door-to-door awareness programs, these volunteers have reached approximately two lakh people. He emphasized that spreading awareness about cyber safety is the most effective way to prevent these crimes.
He further cautioned that cybercriminals are now using sophisticated methods like Digital Arrest, fake trading, and investment scams to defraud even retired judges and educated professionals. He specifically warned women and youth to be extremely careful when interacting with strangers on social media.
Explaining the importance of the ‘Golden Hour’—the first hour after a cybercrime occurs—the Commissioner stated that reporting such incidents immediately to the 1930 helpline significantly increases the chances of recovering the lost money.
Additionally, he highlighted the 'C-Mitra' service, which allows victims to file an FIR online from the comfort of their homes without having to visit a police station. He noted that due to rising public awareness, the daily number of cybercrime complaints has decreased from 80 to 60, reflecting a positive impact on society.

Commissioner Sajjanar expressed his desire for this movement, aimed at making Hyderabad a ‘Cybercrime-Free City’, to expand across the entire country.

The Hyderabad City Police along with the Hyderabad Narcotic Enforcement Wing conducted a joint operation based on credible information and apprehended two persons involved in drug peddling under the limits of Rajendra Nagar Police Station.
During the operation, police seized 150 grams of MDMA, one knife, and four mobile phones. The total value of the seized material is estimated at ₹25 lakh.
A case has been registered as Crime No. 236/2026 under Sections 8(C) r/w 22(C) & 29 of the NDPS Act, Section 14 of the Foreigners Act, and Section 25 of the Arms Act at Rajendra Nagar Police Station.
