కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ 'జల జీవన్ మిషన్ అభియాన్' ఆధ్వర్యంలో వర్షపు నీటి సంరక్షణపై అవగాహన


వర్షపు నీటిని ఎక్కడికక్కడే ఒడిసిపట్టి భూమిలోకి ఇంకేలా ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ బాధ్యతగా వ్యవహరించాలని మున్సిపల్ చైర్‌పర్సన్ పిలుపునిచ్చారు.ఈరోజు స్థానిక మున్సిపల్ కార్యాలయ ఆవరణలో కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ ప్రతిష్టాత్మక పథకం 'జల జీవన్ మిషన్ అభియాన్' లో భాగంగా వర్షపు నీటి సంరక్షణ మరియు ఇంకుడు గుంతల ఆవశ్యకతపై ప్రత్యేక కార్యక్రమం నిర్వహించారు.


ఈ సందర్భంగా మున్సిపల్ చైర్‌పర్సన్, కమీషనర్ మాట్లాడుతూ "వర్షం ఎక్కడ పడితే అక్కడే ఆ నీటిని భూమిలోకి ఇంకిపోయేలా చేయాలి. అప్పుడే అంతరించిపోతున్న భూగర్భ జలాలను మనం పెంచుకోగలం. భవిష్యత్ తరాలకు నీటి ఎద్దడి రాకుండా చూడాలంటే నీటి సంరక్షణే ఏకైక మార్గం," అని వివరించారు.


పట్టణ పరిధిలోని అన్ని ప్రభుత్వ కార్యాలయాలు, ప్రైవేటు సంస్థలు, విద్యాసంస్థలు మరియు ప్రతీ ఇంట్లో విధిగా ఇంకుడు గుంతలను (Rainwater Harvesting Pits) నిర్మించుకోవాలి.


ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో మున్సిపల్ చైర్‌పర్సన్ మరియు మున్సిపల్ కమీషనర్‌తో పాటు, పట్టణ కౌన్సిలర్లు, మున్సిపల్ సిబ్బంది, మరియు ఇతర అధికారులు తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

Rahul Gandhi, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Member of Parliament, arrived at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad, today to participate in the concluding ceremony of the DCC training classes.
He was warmly received at the airport by Anumula Revanth Reddy, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana, along with Telangana State Government Advisor Shri Harkara Venugopal Rao and other senior leaders.

ఇరాన్‌–ఇజ్రాయెల్‌ మధ్య కొనసాగుతున్న దాడుల నేపథ్యంలో పశ్చిమాసియా దేశాలు అప్రమత్తమయ్యాయి. భద్రతా కారణాలతో Iraq, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar దేశాలు తమ గగనతలాన్ని తాత్కాలికంగా మూసివేశాయి. దీంతో ఆ దేశాలకు వెళ్లే, అక్కడి నుంచి బయలుదేరే విమాన సర్వీసులు పూర్తిగా నిలిచిపోయాయి.
ఈ పరిణామాల దృష్ట్యా దుబాయ్‌ కేంద్రంగా కార్యకలాపాలు నిర్వహిస్తున్న Emirates సంస్థ కీలక నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. దుబాయ్‌ నుంచి బయలుదేరే మరియు దుబాయ్‌కు చేరాల్సిన అన్ని విమాన సర్వీసులను తాత్కాలికంగా రద్దు చేసినట్లు ప్రకటించింది. ప్రయాణికులు తమ టికెట్లను రీషెడ్యూల్ చేసుకోవచ్చు లేదా రీఫండ్ పొందవచ్చని సూచించింది.

ఇరాన్‌పై కొనసాగుతున్న ఇజ్రాయెల్‌ దాడుల్లో ఇరాన్‌కు చెందిన కీలక నేతలు ప్రాణాలు కోల్పోయినట్లు అంతర్జాతీయ మీడియా కథనాలు వెలువడుతున్నాయి. ఇరాన్‌ రక్షణ మంత్రి Aziz Nasirzadeh దాడుల్లో మృతి చెందినట్లు రాయిటర్స్‌ పేర్కొంది.
ఇప్పటికే ఇరాన్‌ ఆర్మీ చీఫ్‌ Amir Hatami కూడా ప్రాణాలు కోల్పోయినట్లు సమాచారం. ఈ ఘటనలతో ఇరాన్‌ రక్షణ వ్యవస్థకు గట్టి దెబ్బ తగిలినట్లుగా భావిస్తున్నారు.

Ground-Level Reporting Priorities:

Hospitals
Cover cases of waterborne diseases, dengue, malaria, leptospirosis.
Are rural PHCs and district hospitals prepared with medicines, beds, staff?

Urban Slums
Report on drainage clogging, flooded streets, open sewage and how they affect daily life.
Are municipal workers and JCBs deployed before it floods?

Rural Areas
Track crop damage, washed away roads, and lack of access to health and food due to heavy rain.
Highlight villages cut off due to river floods and damaged infrastructure.

Reporters Should Ask MLAs/MPs:

"What flood-control steps have you taken in your constituency this year?"

"How much budget was sanctioned for drainage and desilting? Was it used?"

"Where are your emergency shelters located, and are they operational?"
