The first patient, a 60-year-old from the Rajampeta area, passed away on June 28 while undergoing treatment at CMC Vellore for severe lung and kidney complications. A subsequent RT-PCR test confirmed he was COVID-19 positive.
The second patient, a 43-to-46-year-old man from the Masapeta area in Kadapa city, passed away on July 7 at the GGH-RIMS hospital in Kadapa after suffering from severe bilateral pneumonia and underlying health complications.
