‘GI on Wheels’ Launched in Hyderabad Jishnu Dev Varma on Friday (February 27) launched the “GI on Wheels” initiative at Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS), Hyderabad. The Governor stated that the main objective is to: Create awareness about Geographical Indication (GI)-tagged art forms Promote Telangana’s traditional crafts widely Support and recognise local artisans He emphasised that as a young state, Telangana must strengthen its cultural identity, adding that culture is the soul of society and sustainable development is not possible without cultural awareness.
