Arrested in Triple Suicide Case — Amberpet PS
The Amberpet Police Station, under the Secunderabad Zone, arrested four alleged illegal money lenders on 02.03.2025 in connection with a triple suicide case.
According to police officials, the accused are suspected to have harassed the victims over loan repayments, which allegedly led to the deaths of three persons. The arrests were made following an investigation into allegations of abetment to suicide linked to unlawful lending practices and coercive recovery methods.
A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway. Authorities stated that strict action will be taken against those involved in illegal money lending and harassment.
Police have also urged the public to report unlawful lending activities and harassment to prevent such tragic incidents in the future.

GHMC Conducts Food Safety Inspections in Secunderabad – Notices Issued
On Saturday, February 28, 2026, food safety officers of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) carried out inspections at multiple food establishments in the Secunderabad zone.
The inspection drive was led by Secunderabad Zonal Commissioner Mangatayaru and Gazetted Food Inspector Laxmi Kanth.
Violations Observed:
Poor hygiene and sanitation conditions
Improper maintenance of mandatory records
Storage of expired food items
Use of unauthorised food colours
Two establishments were issued notices for failing to comply with food safety norms. Officials stated that further action will be taken as per the provisions of the Food Safety and Standards Act.
