తిరుమలలో స్టేట్ ఫుడ్ లాబొరేటరీ, ఎఫ్ఎస్ఎస్ఏఐ (FSSAI) సంయుక్తంగా ఏర్పాటు చేసిన వాటర్ & ఫుడ్ అనాలిసిస్ ల్యాబ్‌ను ప్రారంభించిన ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు గారు.

ప్రసాదాల తయారీ కోసం వినియోగించే వివిధ పదార్థాలను పరీక్షించేలా ఈ ల్యాబ్ నిర్మాణం చేపట్టారు. రూ.25 కోట్ల వ్యయంతో ల్యాబ్ నిర్మాణాన్ని తిరుమల తిరుపతి దేవస్థానం పూర్తి చేసింది.

Speaking at the “Musi Invites” conference, the CM said the project aims to develop Hyderabad into a world-class city while protecting the future of coming generations.
Around 10,000 families living along the Musi will be rehabilitated with double-bedroom houses.

Adulterated Ghee Unit Busted in Banjara Hills; Owner Arrested.

The Hyderabad City Police Commissioner’s Task Force (Golconda Team), along with Masab Tank Police, conducted a raid on Pride Dairy located at Banjara Hills Road No. 12 and uncovered an adulterated ghee manufacturing unit.
During the raid, police arrested Mohammed Junaid Hussain (26), the owner of the dairy unit, for allegedly producing adulterated ghee using palm oil, vanaspati and other low-quality substances.
Officials seized adulterated dairy products along with manufacturing equipment worth approximately ₹18.26 lakh from the premises.
A case has been registered at Masab Tank Police Station, and further investigation is underway to identify whether the products were being supplied to local markets or other areas.

Hyderabad: Substandard Vermicelli Unit Busted in Jiyaguda, One Arrested
Task Force sleuths, along with Kulsumpura police, on Saturday (February 28) raided a warehouse in Jiyaguda and arrested one person for allegedly manufacturing substandard fenia/phenia (vermicelli). Materials worth ₹3.98 lakh were seized during the operation.
The accused has been identified as Dhanraj Puri, 36, who was operating a warehouse named JB Foods near the double bedroom apartments in Jiyaguda.
Seized Items:
Multiple boxes of substandard vermicelli
Bags of refined flour
Vanaspati ghee
One dough mixer machine
Two weighing machines
19 gas cylinders
According to police, the accused was allegedly preparing vermicelli using low-quality ingredients in unhygienic conditions without adhering to Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) norms.
The adulterated product was reportedly being supplied to local shops, posing a serious risk to public health.
A case has been registered under Sections 318(4) (cheating) and 275 (sale of noxious food or drink) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita at Kulsumpura Police Station.

₹2.65 Crore Cyber Fraud in Hyderabad
A 69-year-old businessman from Hyderabad was allegedly duped of ₹2.65 crore in an online investment scam.
The victim, a resident of Somajiguda, approached the Hyderabad Police cybercrime unit after realising he had been cheated.
A woman identifying herself as Ramya Krishnan contacted him via social media
She claimed to be investing in “Polyus Finance (PFP Gold)” and said she had invested ₹50 lakh with high returns
She later encouraged him to invest in her upcoming resort and apparel business projects in Kerala and Hyderabad
Trusting her, the businessman transferred large sums to bank accounts provided by her
To build trust, the fraudster allegedly asked him to withdraw ₹50 as a test transaction
Police have registered a case and launched an investigation.
Authorities have advised citizens to verify online investment schemes carefully and avoid transferring money to unknown individuals promising high returns.

Akbaruddin Owaisi, Floor Leader of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), launches sharp attack on Telangana CM Revanth Reddy and UP CM Yogi Adityanath.
Speaking in Hyderabad, Owaisi alleged that mosques, dargahs, and houses are being demolished in both Telangana and Uttar Pradesh.

A Muslim man was killed in Delhi after he intervened to save his teenage son from being assaulted by a Hindutva group, according to reports. The incident took place in the Nandi Nagri area of the BJP-ruled national capital.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Mohammed Umardeen was shot dead by the attackers while trying to rescue his 15-year-old son, Tehjeem, who had been surrounded by a mob. The father was reportedly targeted for his religious identity.

Umardeen was having tea with his wife, mother, and three daughters when he received a tense phone call from his son, who pleaded for help after being cornered by an angry mob.

Speaking to local media, the boy's mother said her son was singled out because he is Muslim. “They stopped him and said, ‘He is a Muslim, beat him.’ They assaulted my child so brutally that his head was split open,” she said.

She added that Tehjeem, grievously injured, called his father and told him, “Papa, save me. They are beating me badly — Sonu and his brother Sardar.”
