Ganesh Sena Delegation Meets Bandi Sanjay Over Alleged Illegal Immigration Concerns
A delegation of Ganesh Sena, the youth wing of Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samithi (BGUS), on Saturday, February 28, met Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay seeking his intervention regarding alleged illegal Rohingya and Bangladeshi immigrants residing in Hyderabad and across Telangana.
According to a release issued by BGUS, the delegation expressed concern over what it described as growing security implications, particularly in areas surrounding key defence establishments and other sensitive locations.
They stated that illegal settlements pose challenges to national security and public safety and may also have socio-economic impacts on local communities.
The delegation further claimed that the alleged influx is affecting traditional and small-scale occupations among economically weaker sections.
Bandi Sanjay reportedly assured the delegation that appropriate action would be initiated after coordination with the state government and relevant agencies.
